Crowned in Courage
Step into your courage and overcome life challenges
Janene Burton
Historian, Author, Speaker,
Santa Clara City Councilwoman
Ms. Senior Utah & Ms. Senior USA
At this age and having just lost my husband, it took courage for me to be on that stage. That is why I chose to be a part of the Ms. Senior USA Pageant. I did it with the hope that it would give me the courage to do other impactful things in my life. Just because one chapter is over, doesn’t mean life is over. We are all queens in our own right, and we must dream new dreams and keep exploring life. I want to spread that message, especially to senior women, In my speaking engagements. I share stories about historical people who did courageous things to make a positive impact in the world. As a retired teacher. I always loved seeing students achieve and grow. By continuing to teach in this way, I can spread my light and inspire others.
